Shifting Mindset to Get Fit
Updated: Apr 19, 2022

It's natural to want to stay in your comfort zone, but how is your mindset affecting your willingness to take action?
The impact of mindset affects all areas of our lives, but let's consider the area of fitness. Do you see yourself as healthy and fit or with a desire to be healthy and fit? If you are not taking some action, it could be because you are waiting on something to happen to get you started. Don't wait!!!
Take Step
Shake things up. Don't discount small steps. Taking action may be walking one lap around your office building or doing 5 squats a day. Those are great starts because they represent progress. It is easy to convince ourselves that our work does not count unless it is considered substantial by someone else's standards.
Commit to accepting the fact that you may not feel completely ready before it's the perfect time to take action. Just start by doing any kind of physical activity. It doesn't matter what you are doing. The act of doing something is the aim in order to shift your mindset and develop a habit. You can always make modifications. Just show up. You have nothing to lose. The act of starting and not waiting is the barrier to break.
Keys to Success
Even though taking one flight of stairs may not give you a serious cardio workout, it's an accomplishment because it will lead to a routine. People who frequently work out have a mindset that keeps them going. Start shifting your mindset by taking small steps which will lead to habits that will help you reach your ultimate goals.
